Windows 10: Error with code 0x8007030c cumulative update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based...

I try to install a cumulative update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based systems KB5053598 from March 2025, but there's an installation error with code 0x8007030c.I tried installing this update for 3 weeks but still can't succeed.

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022845)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

 

Windows 11, version 24H2 install error

Trying to download and install Windows 11, version 24H2 from windows update give error code:

0x80246019

What can I do? Thanks.

and it keeps failing

gets to about 75% install then fails

install error code 0x80070002

can anyone suggest anything ??
