Windows 10: Error with permissions as admin with program installer

I was trying to install Keepass and when I ran the installer, it gave me an issue and prevented me from continuing further. My image won't upload so here's the message word for word. "The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\KeePassXC. The installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator."However I'm already administrator and I'm the only administrator AND account on this computer. I tried reinstalling, uninstalling, and running it several times.

Win7 User Admin permissions broken

Basically it's an administrative user not the root admin , I don't know what it went wrong with settings and i forogot , but the permissions for it account were messed and now it cannot delete/edit sometimes stuff that came from rar or downloader or even installs, plus cannot uninstal most of programs , it's only possible with root admin (hidden), is there a way to restore these privilegies.

Also the error points "You need administrative privilegies from Administrators/[Nickname] "
BUT I AM THE DAMN USER !!!!

It's not my PC so i really don't want to dig it up from scratch.


The PC has RAID0 so basically im not going to go over that again with a reinstall/reformat. ... takes time.

Provide us with the below details for better clarity on the issue.

  Have you installed all pending updates on the system?
  
• 
  Are you facing this issue on a Local account or the Microsoft Account?
  

I suggest you to Sign out from the current user account, restart the system and login to the Admin account to check if that helps.

Further you need to run the Disk clean up tool which will help you in this issue.

If the issue persists then enable the built in admin account from the
Windows Recovery Environment, login to that account and then uninstall unwanted programs or applications. You are getting an error when you try to enable the hidden admin account as the command only runs on an Elevated command prompt, i.e.,
an admin Command prompt. As you can’t access that on your system, I suggest you to go to Windows Recovery Environment and use the Command Prompt there, which is elevated.

Follow the below steps:-

• 
  Press Shift and Restart from the power icon (together)
  
• 
  Select Troubleshoot.
  
• 
  Go to Advanced Options.
  
• 
  Select Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Type "net user Administrator /active:yes"
  
• 
  Hit Enter.
  

An user account with the name Admin will be created. Log in with that account and you will be able to access Admin privileges. You can also create more Administrator accounts with that account.

Windows 10 Cant uninstall programs/use Admin permissions

I went through and did a Disk Cleanup, then did the steps as followed. It said the command was successful, but when I went back to start up and delete the programs, it still said I wasn't an administrator. To clarify the questions you asked at the top of
the post, I have my computer set to update automatically, so I should have everything up to date. However I'm not sure what the 2nd question means. I'm using the account that it gave me when I upgraded to Windows 10. I have also been able to remove apps before,
so I don't know when this problem started.
