SINCE THE NEWEST WINDOWS 11 UPDATE, mY CAPSLOCK rANdomLy gOES on AND OFF. I RESEARCHED ONLINE and did thE FOLLOWINg Thus FARoNsCREEN Keyboard sHows capslock BEING TAPPED eveN THOugh noTHING IS TouChing iteXterNal KEyboARD HAS THE SAME ISSUEI completed several HP hardware tesTS - All came back clear/passedi UNINSTALLED My hP LAptOP DrivERS - NOT SOLVedi Updated the bios - Not solvedi UNinstalled POssiBlE 3rd PARtY Apps THAT UPDATED THAT DaY as well - NO FIXi DID a windows restore - not sOLVEDi DID A factory reset - keeping my personal files but removing all appS That DId nOT COMe WITH THE lAPTo

Keyboard not working after Windows 10 Update

Have you tried updating the mouse and keyboard drivers? If not, we suggest you to do so. And if the updates are
already installed, kindly check if there is an exclamation mark in the Device Manager under the keyboard section. To check it, please follow these steps:

• 
  Go to
  Control Panel
  and open
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Right-click
  on the
  Keyboard USB device.
  
• 
  If you see that there is a
  exclamation mark, please post a screenshot of the error message.

Keyboard problem in Windows 10

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

Windows 10 Upgrade Error 11/11/2015

As you are facing issues with installing the updates, do let us know the following to assist you better:

• Were you able to see any error notification along with the error code?
• What is the make and model of your device?
• Are you able to boot in to the desktop?

This issue might be due to the anti-virus software or corrupted Windows Update Components.

I suggest you to hard reboot the computer and perform the below.

Step 1: Try to eject all the external devices connected to your computer except mouse and keyboard, reboot the computer and check if the issue persists.

Step 2: I suggest you to uninstall the anti-virus software installed on your device and check for the updates.

If the issue still persists,

Step 3: I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter and check.

Resolves problems that prevents you from updating windows.

Steps:

• Press Windows key and type
  Troubleshooting.
• Click on Troubleshooting and click on
  View all in the left pane.
• Select Windows Update to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter
  and follow the on-screen instructions.
