Errors persisting in windows 10 even after clean install. Help needed!

I have been having these errors right after the upgrade. Once I did a clean install still having these same errors!
I did sfc scan and says there is no problem at all.

Can you guys kindly take a look and see if you have a solution or any idea what the problem could be?

Errors persisting in windows 10 even after clean install. User Data Access_Session

I feel it is better not to tamper with the registry. I have the same problems and more event errors. This stopped windows update and so I felt MS technical support can help me (free support for widows update problems I thought) I contacted them. They took
control of my laptop, looked at my error events and all the services and told me that some drivers/files did not install when I upgraded to windows 10 and they could solve the problem for ever for £140 I could not go ahead. I can only conclude that you all
have my problem and a MS fix is not possible unless the fix can detect missing files and installs them.

Apparently many computers are affected with the same problem. I was able to fix this by disabling the service. But maybe someone from MS should look into this and find a real fix for it. So here is what I did to fix the problem:

go to:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\OneSyncSvc]

change the value for "Start" to 4 (original is 2)

This will disable the service and no more errors

We can turn it back on when there is a fix!

"Had to do this using regedit as the service is not listed in services"

Does it have a fingerprint sensor?

6. At this point I would recommend uninstalling the Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver then reinstall with this link.
Drivers Software - HP Support Center.
. Then is there a sync host session in your services? you can access it at services.msc.

Thanks for your reply. There is no sync host session listed in my services. I installed the driver from hp but problem is still there.
With hp driver windows 10 hello will not work with the finger print sensor anymore. But with the old one (installed my MS) finger print works. In both cases the error is still there.

I have the same set of errors. This appears to be a Microsoft issue.

Well I hope someone here will be able to make microsoft aware of this problem and hopefully we get a
fix or a workaround soon. I realize that these 4 errors happen only when you restart the pc (at shut down)
and the only negative effect it has on your system is that windows shutdown takes longer then normal.
So no drama but still little frustrating.

10. I have the exact same issue regarding the first four of the five faults given in OP.
but mine appear at startup so startup takes for ever... :-(
no sync host session in services so i guess it has a different display name. pitty I cannot find the actual "service name" either

well... I might write this too soon but it seems as if I have solved the issue. Sadly I went berserk so I can not pinpoint the exact move that solved this. Perhaps it was simply the magic superfetch service that figured it out. However, I sat quit a few services to manual and inactivated a few with the Black Viper´s eminent explanation for services in w8.1 as a guide. http://www.blackviper.com/service-co...onfigurations/

here is how i configured my services, and remember... It works for Me....might not for You
p.s file is in swedish but i think it is selfexplanatory *Tongue*Biggrin

I have the same error and I tracked it to the following service which doesn't show in the Services.msc list.

Errors persisting in windows 10 even after clean install. Help needed! [IMG]

I tried to use an elevated cmd prompt to set it to disabled or manual (demand is manual) but to no avail. Also according to Sync Host_Session1 - Windows 10 Service - batcmd.com it should only be on Home editions (I'm using Pro) so maybe that's causing the problem? No idea, but posting what I found in hopes someone can run with it and help us all.

Later EDIT: Potential Solution!
Okay so I am no longer getting this error in Event Viewer.
What I did was the following (use at your own risk! this will delete the OneSyncSvc service from your system)

Open elevated command prompt (run as administrator)
You may have to stop the service first if it's already running, you do that with:
Code: sc stop OneSyncSvc
then the following command deletes it:
Code: sc delete OneSyncSvc
Again do so at your own risk, this service is probably required for syncing devices with OneDrive. I don't use any syncing and I've disabled OneDrive from my system.

Thanks for you post. The problem I have is that I don't have this service listed in my services, but in fact I can see it in task manager. I think if we could set it to disabled it would fix the problem without having to delete it. I hope
someone will come up with a solution to do this.

then the following command deletes it:
Code: sc delete OneSyncSvc
Again do so at your own risk, this service is probably required for syncing devices with OneDrive. I don't use any syncing and I've disabled OneDrive from my system.
Ok I got this fixed! no need to delete the service. All you need to do is to use regedit and disable the service from regedit
for this go to:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\OneSyncSvc]

change the value for "Start" to 4 (original is 2)
This will disable the service and no more errors *Smile
We can turn it back on when there is a fix!

14. well done rezpower. A much much nicer approach then mine. And my situation is the same as yours. Guess OneSyncSvs is not showing because I do not use OneDrive....

Now that we know were the problem is coming from someone should try to contact MS and let them know so they fix it.
Btw even if I disabled this service my one drive is still working with no problem.
