Windows 10: Errors updating to Windows 11 - 0x8007042B - 0x4001E - The installation failed in the...

Hello,I have been attempting to update to Windows 11 using an ISO file. Around 91% through the install, the upgrade reverts back to Window 10 like nothing happened. The error I am getting is:0x8007042B - 0x4001EThe installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during PRE_OOBE operation.The setuperr.log file is telling me this is the culprit:Mig::CLibTransport::StoreObject: Failed to store object for File\C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Platform\4.18.2101.9-0\MpCommu.dll. Error: 0x80071160: Win32Exception: unable to read on FileStream: The WOF driver encountered a corrupt

Anniversary update fail. Error 0x8007042B - 0x4001E

I have been attempting to upgrade windows 10 pro, from version 10240 to version 1607 (anniversary update). I have tried both the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant and the media creation tool (ISO). I get to 96% and, boom, every time it resets and restores my system to where it was before the upgrade started. The error I get is as follows:

0x8007042B - 0x4001E
The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during PRE_OOBE operation.

I have searched for an answer and haven't found one. I have tried to trouble shoot it as best I can by unplugging everything but my keyboard/mouse, updated chipset, etc.. MS techs haven't been much help. Any thoughts? The iso is not on the OS drive, not sure if that matter. I would rather not have to nuke the system. I hate having to reinstall programs (adobe is the worst). Any help is appreciated.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

I tried the the Windows Update Troubleshooter but everything is ok, no errors to solve.

I tried to reset the windows update components but nothing change.

No update and the same error:

0x8007002C - 0x4001E

The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during PRE_OOBE operation

So I have the impression the problem isn't in the update components, otherwise it doesn't stop at 96% during the last stage...

There is a log file where is possible to understand what's wrong? where is the problem?

However can you explain which kind of error is the 0x8007002C - 0x4001E?

And... what's the next step?
