Windows 10: Ethernet adapter gateway keeps resetting? Static IP, for some reason the gateway disappears...

Title. Set my static IP through Network and Internet control panel, for some reason on like half my restarts, the default gateway just disappears from IPv4 settings.

Default Gateway disappears after setting static IP - Windows 10

Like the title says I setup a static IP address over ethernet (ipv4) and upon closing the properties menu the network is unidentified.

When I re-enter the ipv4 properties menu, the gateway is blank.

Things I've tried:

This is for the same problem but the solution does not work (basically enter the gateway twice).

2- Also, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for the adapter. This worked for a time but the same issue started again later.

I'd like the permanent solution.

Ethernet issues - no default gateway

If your computer recognizes your Ethernet card, you will be able to do that.

-As i told to you, check your router if there are any problems there...

To add DG: Go to Network and Sharing Center->Change adapter settings->Find your ethernet adapter->Right click and find properties of it->Find
Internet Protocol Version 4->Assign the static ip and put the ip of your router in the default gateway (if you're directly connected to the modem, instead of router's, put modem's one).

Static IP:

-If your's device ip is 192.168.1.1, your ip should look like 192.168.1.x (x can be anything from 2-255).

 

Static IP-address & Gateway + Windows Phone 7

Hello from Russia!!! I have some problem. I can't set static IP-address and Gateway on my Windows Phone 7 device when I configuring Wi-Fi network. Fields is unactive! I can set Proxy, but I can't set Gateway. I need to set another gateway. Why I can't
do this?
