Windows 10: Ethernet Connection makes windows explorer freeze

Hello,I am using a Laptop with windows 10, and I have an issue with ethernet connection. I was using internet through my ethernet cable and suddenly the internet connection lost, but windows says there is connection and troubleshooter says it can't identify the problem. The thing is Wi-fi works, and cable works too, I have tried it with another laptop, and if I start the Laptop with ethernet cable plugged in, windows explorer keeps crashing, so taskbar and search bar does not work etc, and no connection as before. I tried various ways such as flush dns ip config renew - release and such, resta

2. Have you recently made any changes on the device prior to this issue?

   You may try the below suggested steps to fix the issue.
   
   
   

1. Click on Start, Type in Control Panel and look for Network & Sharing Center.
   
2. Click on ‘Change adapter settings’ on the left pane.
   
3. You will be able to see the list of networks available.
   
4. Click on Advanced menu and select ‘Advanced Settings’.
   
5. You will be able to see the different types of connections under advanced settings Window.
   
6. Select Ethernet and use the arrows at the right side in the current Window in order to reorder the connections.
   
7. Click on OK and check the status of the issue.

You need to enable Internet Connection Sharing on the ethernet port in Windows to use your lappy as a router.

• Verify that the cable connects the modem to the wall jack is connected securely.
• Verify that the cable connects the computer to the modem is attached securely at both ends.
• Restart the router/modem.
