Windows 10: Ethernet Controller code 10

I restarted my pc and ethernet decided to remove itself and stop working. I activated wi-fi that works as normal but i prefer to use a ethernet cable.Device manager says ethernet controller cannot start code 10.It's not the first time this has happend, last time it happend some months ago and i removed the ethernet driver around 8 times and it started to work again but here i am with the same phenomenon, i included some picture if that helps.Ethernet only shows up if i disable ethernet controller, but is gone when i enable.

Ethernet controllers problems

thats what i have been doing is going to the device mgr and clicking the the let me choose. but it always says "windows can not install your ethernet controller. And there the Ethernet Controller isnt in the list..im going to be working on this all night. I just got back from work.

I'd rather just set it and forget it as the feature list of RBE suggested it was capable of doing.

 

How can I solve the code 10 problem with my ethernet adapter "Intel (R) ethernet connection I217-LM"

The adapter is displaying a "Code 10" error in the Device Manager, which indicates that the device cannot start. I've exhausted various troubleshooting steps, and I'm seeking assistance from the community to help resolve this issue.

Problem Description:

• Operating System: [Windows 10, version 22H2]
  
• Motherboard: [HP ProDesk 600 G1 TWR]
  
• Network Adapter: Intel Ethernet Connection I217-LM
  

Issue Details:

• The onboard adapter was working fine until recently when I encountered the "Code 10" error and there is no internet connection at all.
  
• I've tried updating drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the adapter in safe mode , checking for BIOS updates, and performing network troubleshooters, but the problem persists.
  
• I've tested the adapter in Safe Mode with Networking, didn't work at all , and of course the "Code 10" error still occurs in normal mode.
  
• The adapter's LED lights are slightly blinking, suggesting some level of activity.
  
• I've also tried using the Intel Ethernet Flash Firmware Utility (BootUtil) to diagnose and update the firmware, but I'm encountering difficulties initializing the adapter.
