Windows 10: Ethernet disconnecting all the time for a second

Hello everyone,I have this issue for some time already now it reached its peak and really drives me crazy.From time to time my internet connection becomes extremely unstable and starts disconnecting all the time for a second.This leads to reconnecting in games all the time, missing fractures of a work-call or reconnecting to ssh-sessions.I am pretty sure this issue comes from a drivers problem, but I don't know how to identify the faulty driver. Are there any tools to find out if and what driver messes around with my internet?I ruled out a broken ethernet-cable because I also have the same iss

We understand that you recall the issue of Ethernet suddenly disconnecting for a few seconds, I would like to ask you to further confirm the situation by asking you to first disconnect the WIFI and connect your computer directly to the wall jack via the Ethernet cable without going through the router, does the situation still recur? This will help us to confirm if there is an issue with the router itself.

Constantly disconnecting with ethernet cable

Thank you for keeping us posted on the status of the issue.

I suggest you to check if rolling back the Ethernet driver helps to resolve the issue. Follow the below steps.

• First of all, Press Windows logo + R from keyboard. It will open
  RUN.
• Now type devmgmt.msc and press Enter to open Device Manager.
• You will see all the device list of your PC. Expand Network Adapters

Rollback driver

Double click on your Ethernet driver in Device Manager. Then Click on
Driver tab and select Rollback.

Important: If your drive is performing well and there is no error, Rollback driver button will be grayed out as an option.

If it still does not help, I suggest you to reinstall the drivers for the Ethernet driver and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Note: Once you uninstall the drivers the Ethernet adapter device will be disabled and you won’t be able to connect to internet. So it is advisable to keep all the installer files as a back up in your hard drive.

Windows 11 Pro - Ethernet Disconnects for a Few Seconds a Couple of Times per Day

A couple of times per day, my Ethernet will drop for a few seconds (icon in taskbar shows disconnected, and network connections are lost). The Wi-Fi remains connected, and the router (TP-Link) doesn't show any loss of connection. Windows Event Viewer doesn't show anything under "System."

My router is connected to the wall jack with an Ethernet cable, then an Ethernet cable connects the router to my pc via a USB-C adapter. So far, I have tried switching out ethernet cables and the adapter, and all devices (router, pc + drivers) are updated. I have tried restarting both the router and pc. Running network troubleshooter shows no issues. Issue is ongoing for a couple of months across multiple Windows updates.

If anyone could recommend steps to diagnose/solve this issue it would be much appreciated. I do have an additional pc I could test the connection on if anyone could recommend a program/command for monitoring the Ethernet uptime to see if this is an issue with my current pc or with my router.

Current Windows version: 23H2 OS Build 22631.3235
