Windows 10: Ethernet doesnt work on some websites but wireless works on every website

I've tried everything from installing drivers and uninstalling drivers, updating computer, flushing DNS, switching DNS servers.There a cable from the router to a hub then to my pc

Ethernet shows red X and does not appear in settings, but still works


Not sure why this is happening. I have working ethernet and am connected, it works fine. But the taskbar icon shows a red X over it, and the tooltip says "Not Connected - No connections are available". Looking in "Network & Internet", ethernet is not even listed there. And before anyone suggests wireless interference .. this PC does not have a wireless card or integrated wireless.

 

Edge not working on spesific website

I suggested you to try resetting Edge and check if it helps to resolve the issue.
Refer the steps below to reset Edge.

Steps:-

• First of all launch Microsoft Edge Browser.
• After that click on “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.
• Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.
• Once you click on this option you will see list of feature like

• Browsing History
• Cookies and saved website data
• Cached data and file
• Download history
• Form data
• Password.

Making A Website For Placing Orders, Etc

I find this all pretty confusing >.< But I guess that's expected considering I'm just starting this website project today. In times like this I think of the movie 'What About Bob?' and Baby Steps. First step would be to get the website with it's domain name up and running. Then I can start thinking about what actually goes on the website. I guess I'll check out Drupal, I've seen that mentioned a few times in this thread now.

When I get into work tomorrow morning I'll talk to a few people and find out what the deal is with our domain name. How do they even work? If we "own" miladcontracting.com as some people in our office think we do, what is the next step there? Finding a web hosting site to make use of the domain name?
