Windows 10: Ethernet driver not visible in Device Manager

I can't see ethernet option in Settings > Network & Internet. I can't view any ethernet/LAN adapters in Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings. I can't see Ethernet driver in device manager even after seeing hidden devices. I have a Dell Inspiron 5510 laptop with Windows 11 23H2. I even did network reset, still the issue persists. Some solutions suggest something to do with BIOS. However I don't know what exactly to look for in BIOS.

Unable to connect to Bluetooth and the respective drivers are not visible in Device manager in Windows 10.

You may be facing the above issue due to no Bluetooth drivers installed on the PC. If a device driver is not installed, then the particular device will not be supported on the PC. Any device driver installed on the PC will be visible under
Device manager.



Method 1: Since you are unable to locate the Bluetooth device under
Device manager, I suggest you to download and install the latest, suitable and compatible Bluetooth drivers for Windows 10 operating system from the manufacturer’s website and check if the issue is resolved.



Method 2: If the issues persists even after downloading and installing the Bluetooth drivers, I suggest you to run the device driver in
compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.



Step 1: Compatibility mode runs the program in the current version of Windows using the settings from previous version of Windows.

• Download the latest driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website or locate the downloaded driver setup file of the previous operating system in your PC.
• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
  Properties.
• Click on the Compatibility tab, check the box
  Run this program in compatibility mode for, select Windows 10 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.
• Once the driver is installed in compatibility mode, restart the PC for the effective changes to take place.
• Check if the issue is resolved.

Step 2: You can also follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard and type
  Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.
• Select the top most search result and follow from step 2 from the article
  
  Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows (Also applies to Windows 10).
  
• Check if the issue is resolved.

Can not find WIFI device after W10 Creator update

Hi,

This issue may have occurred due to corrupted drivers. Since you already performed some troubleshooting steps, and the drivers are not even listed in device manager, we suggest that you follow these steps to make the missing drivers visible again:

• Right click the Windows icon and select Device Manager.
• Click the View Tab at the top of the Device Manager window.
• Put a checkmark on Show hidden devices.
• Check if it made your drivers visible. Try to uninstall and reinstall your drivers afterwards.

New build, all works but ethernet

Go to the asus web site and look up your motherboard model. Then go to drivers and download your ethernet driver
