Windows 10: Ethernet dropping out

Hello, I have had another discussion complaining about my Ethernet dropping out completely and randomly for a couple seconds whenever I play games. Well as it turns out, after some more digging and coincidental moments, I discovered that my ethernet just disconnects randomly no matter what I'm doing. Again I have tried everything in the command console, reset my network settings and updated all my available drivers. I feel like I just have an aged internet port because my brother has no problems and we're plugged into the same router. I open task manager sometimes and notice in "Performance",

Ethernet Connection Occasionally Drops

On occasion my ethernet connection drops and an auto-configuration address gets assigned by Windows 10. I purchased an ethernet card thinking the problem with the ethernet that is built into the motherboard, but the ethernet connection still randomly drops. The ethernet connection will randomly start working again. Yes, I disabled the onboard ethernet in the BIOS, so conflicts would not be an issue. I have no idea if the issue can be fixed or not. I have had this issue since I purchased this used computer in 2019. If it is the motherboard, then I will just live it with until the computer is replaced. I realize the issue is probably not easily fixable, but any suggestions will be appreciated. The DNS shown is the DNS of my VPN provider. Let me know if you need any other information.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Windows 10 Enterprise Ethernet Connection Drops?

I just installed and plugged in a new Windows 10 Enterprise HP box into our network and it is intermittently dropping and reconnecting the Ethernet connection. It is not reliable.

Suggestions?
