Windows 10: Ethernet is not working

My Ethernet connection does not even appear in Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections. I was using it normally when the Ethernet Connection suddenly stopped working, and the device even started lagging.I have tried updating the Network Adapters in the Device Manager, have uninstalled them all and rebooted the system, and don't have any Windows Updates available.I have also tried reinstalling the BIOS through the Dell drivers and downloads.After, I tried creating a Restore Point. It stopped lagging, but the ethernet did not start working back again.As any of these opti

New build, all works but ethernet

Anyway everything works fine except for the ethernet port. Under device manager it is listed as "Ethernet Controller", under the category of "unknown devices" (along with several other unknown devices).

 

Domain network ethernet not working but wifi does?

Hi FreeBooter, I already came across this article and followed the steps with no results, I came across other articles that suggested the same steps but still nothing has worked? Thanks for the reply.

Go to the asus web site and look up your motherboard model. Then go to drivers and download your ethernet driver
