Windows 10: Ethernet Issues

Hi Everyone,I’m recently having some Ethernet issues and was hoping someone could help. Currently the ethernet port I use on my PC detects the cable, says i’m connected to the internet, says I have 10Mbps connection, but.. I can’t load a single thing not even just googling Google. Tried disabling and re-enabling it, disabling wi-fi, a lot of things, nothing seems to work and I really don’t know where to start.. it’s a Windows Asus Gaming PC from CyberPower. I don’t know what specific specs you need to know but I did just do a full factory reset of it. It’s from 2014 but still is very much kick

Cannot connect to ethernet no valid ip configuration

Ethernet connection issues

I realize that you are facing the issue with the Ethernet connection. Let me assist you.


This issue might happen if the power saver option is set.

I suggest you to follow the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows Key + X key and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Network Adapters.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Network Adapter listed and click on
  Properties.
  
• 
  Click on Power Management tab.
  
• 
  Uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power box and click on
  Ok.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check if the issue is resolved.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
