Windows 10: Ethernet keeps disconnecting and reconnecting at random times.

This Issue has come up after I decided to put a new cooler into my Computer. Has nothing to do with it but since then, ive been randomly getting disconnected from my internet for 2 seconds and reconnected at very random times.Sometimes it can happen every 30 minutes, sometimes even 5 and sometimes an hour.I have tried everything that people have been telling me. I cannot find an actual fix.Please help. This is very frustrating especially since I play a lot of online video games.***** moved from german to english Community *****

I have the same issue on my Dell XPS 15 laptop (which worked normally for many months after I set it up). I've ruled out all hardware culprits (Dell even swapped in a new motherboard). I've done every last suggestion in this post and all other tutorials I've found about Ethernet disconnects and "default gateway not available" errors (including a repair install of Windows 11 Pro). My wi-fi connection is fine, but all of a sudden after six months, my laptop cannot maintain a stable Ethernet connection. It disconnects after a few minutes. Sometimes it spontaneously reconnects for a little while before disconnecting yet again. If I remove the Ethernet cable and reconnect it, that will usually restore the connection for a short time. The problem happens whether IPV4 is enabled, IPV6, or both. The only option I have not tried is the nuclear one: a clean reinstall of W11.

 

Random USB Disconnects-reconnects for unknown device.

Hi all, I have a clean install windows 10 home with the specs listed in my profile.

Im getting continuous disconnect USB sounds, often multiple times in a row, and the occasional reconnect sound.

Ive used a program call USBDeview, and can confidently say it is the top tow devices that disconnect and reconnect. I'm unsure what they are and how to solve the problem.

It doesnt happen 24/7, but sometimes it will do it for 40 mins and sometimes 5 mins then stop etc etc, very random.

I dont have any External HDD plugged into drives J K L M, but they normally get assigned to .iso's or Portable HDD's.
