Windows 10: Ethernet lag spikes

Hello! I have huge ethernet lag spikes and they last like 10 seconds when it lag spike i can hear my friends on discord but i cant open tabs in the browser i tried everything but i cant solve it.

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Lag Spikes

So, I have had this computer for a month now and every game I have played I will get random lag spikes which in any game will often cause me to lose in the games I play. I play on a wireless internet and I can't have used ethernet and it has helped a bit
but I cant always use it. I have good internet too as I use the same internet on my phone and switch and hardly ever experience lag spikes.

I'm not sure if this goes into gaming or networking but since it seems more network related Ill post it here.

I have a Belkin usb wireless adapter I use with my gaming rig (see specs.) Lately when I am gaming online everything runs awesome. 60 or less ping no matter what. However about every few minutes I get a really bad lag spike. The game freezes completely for a second and as you well know a 5 second delay in a FPS firefight equals death. Its become quite annoying. Any suggestions other than running an ethernet cord across my house?
