Windows 10: Ethernet not working if i enable hotspot

My issue is, I am working in an office where we are connected to a LAN network. The internet is provided by Ethernet connection, so we just used to start our hotspot and use wifi on our mobile phones. I am getting issue from last 2 weeks. When we start the hotspot, the hotspot start smoothly and we get internet on our phones too, But on the same time the internet stops working on our systems/laptops. Also, I'am unable to uninstall updates as it showing error 0x8024401c. please help me

Making a hotspot from Ethernet connection doesn't work ?

When you enable mobile hotspot, does your phone detect the hotspot network in the list of available Wi-Fi networks?

Go to Network Connections, right click on the Ethernet Connection> Properties> Sharing tab, post a screenshot.

Please specify if you are using third party Firewall / Antivirus.

 

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot Not working

Hi,

Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and select Devices.
• Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.
