Windows 10: Ethernet unidentified

For some reason the internet is not working on my pc. I use a ethernet cable which works as i tested it on other devices. I tried to reseach online and fix this but im not even sure what im supposed to put in the ip adress, where do i find what should be, on my pc its just blank. Im completely lost.

ethernet unidentified network

my ethernet adapter says unidentified network it wont let me connect to my xbox. when I did the troubleshoot it said Ethernet 2" doesn't have a valid IP configuration so what do I do I don't know any of my ip configuration.

 

Desktop pc wont connect to ethernet. "Unidentified network" and "no internet mesages"
