Windows 10: Ethernet will not connect

At the beginning of November, i downloaded a few updates for windows 11 and I suddenly had multiple issues, doing research it appeared my motherboard failed. I replaced the motherboard, and the issues persisted. I wiped the hard drive and installed windows 10. The system is stable now but i am unable to connect to the internet. running diagnostics returns a "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration" error. so far i have tried the following:1. turning everything including router and modem off and back on again2. I have verified with other devices that the Ethernet cable and router

How to delete an ethernet connection?

Just as title says. I have some old ethernet connections in my list, and I would like to delete it to clean.

Any suggestion?

• What kind of computer are you using? Is it a desktop or a laptop?
• Did you make any recent changes to your computer?
• Have you tried troubleshooting the issue by yourself? If yes, what were the steps you have taken so far?

I would suggest you to try the following and check:

• Verify that the cable connects the modem to the wall jack is connected securely.
• Verify that the cable connects the computer to the modem is attached securely at both ends.
• Restart the router/modem.
