Even after entering bitlocker Key, my laptop fails to boot and I am getting the following message stop code process1 initialization failed. Please help me to boot my laptop

Enter Bitlocker Recovery Key page at boot

Hi,

Yesterday my laptop got a Windows update and on rebooting, it's stuck at "Enter Bitlocker Recovery Key" page. I never set up the key. It says "there has been a change in secure boot" and hence you need to enter the recovery key. But when I setup my laptop
for the first time, I never setup any bitlocker key. Also, the device is not shown in any of microsoft accounts. How do I find the recovery key?

 

Bitlocker Recovery Keys keeps appearing

Click on the start icon and type bitlocker. Click on the top entry in the list for Manage Bitlocker. In the Window that opens, turn BitLocker off. I noticed that Windows 10 Pro ver 1803, when I installed it on my laptop, encrypted the drive without asking me if I wanted it encrypted or not and I was getting the screen to enter a key after I attempted to install a second boot menu entry.

 

Issues with entering recovery key for safe mode

What is the make and model of your device?

Did you tried using function keys(F1-F10) to enter BitLocker recovery key?

Did you tried using some other external keyboard?

Suggest you to disable the Bit locker Drive Encryption to see if it helps. You can follow the below mentioned steps and check if it helps

To turn off BitLocker Drive Encryption:

• 
  Click Start, type Manage BitLocker and select same from the list.
  
• 
  Under BitLocker Drive Encryption, find the drive on which you want BitLocker Drive Encryption turned off(I.e. In this case you system drive), and click
  Turn Off BitLocker.
  
• 
  A message is displayed, informing you that the drive will be decrypted and that decryption may take some time. Click
  Decrypt the drive to continue and turn off BitLocker on the drive.
  

Once done, try to check if you're able to boot into Safe Mode successfully.
