Thanks a lot for the suggestion. However, even after complying with the instructions for 'clean boot for windows' as narrated in the portal mentioned, the position regarding mysterious space occupation remains unaltered. The 'E' drive remains occupied with
75 GB of space inside which no file/folder is traceable.

 

After Windows 10 Creators Update, Disk Space 100℅ Full & Slow Booting

Hello, 4 days before i Installed Windows 10 Creators Update on Dell Inspiron 15 5000 (Touchscreen) & after that the Disk Space (Task Manager) was 100℅ Full.

For That i contacted Dell, they suggested to reset (because they couldn't solve it).

After Reset Yesterday, on Windows 10 Creators Update (1703), the Laptop was fine But After that Dell installed McAfee Antivirus, which eventually failed to install & we were asked to Restart the laptop. After Restart, the Disk Space is still 100℅ Full &
longer Booting time.

There were many problems with Microsoft Edge, trackpad sensitivity,etc.

Disclaimer : Dell Told us that this is PROBLEM of Microsoft NOT US (Dell) !

Laptop doesnt have even a single other software/app. All softwares are Pre-installed. There is no data in laptop . And is new & hardly used.

 

Low Disk Space error

Hi,

I suggest you to delete the unwanted applications or games installed on the device and also perform a Disk Cleanup.

In order to delete the games or applications, which has been downloaded from the Windows Store you need to right click on the game and select
Uninstall option from the Start menu.

If the games that you are downloaded are .exe or the applications which are not downloaded from the Windows Store, you may try deleting it from the Control panel.

To do so, please follow the below steps.

• Right Click on Start Menu.
• Open Control Panel.
• Click Programs.
• Click Programs and Features.
  
• Click on the programs that you would like to uninstall.
