Event 1001 and Event 902 at Random times while running GTA V

    Hi all,

I'm having an issue with an Events 1001 and/or 902 crash when I run GTA V it occurs at random times, and without warning. I've reset Windows 10 Pro, uninstalled and reinstalled the game but I keep getting the crashes. Windows 10 Pro should be up to date, I have my doubts about my mouse as the manufacturer hasn't released updated drivers in some time, and the rest of my peripherals/utilities should be up to date. Thanks in advance

    :)

Windows Explorer suddenly went 'stopped responding' and the copying process froze

    Hi Kenneth,

I will certainly help you with the issue you are facing with Windows Explorer.

This issue might occur when there are any applications/services conflicts while transferring data from your device to the laptop.

For more information on the Event ID 1001 and Event ID 1002, I suggest you to refer to the section,
Event ID 1001 and Event ID 1002 from the below article:

EVENT 1001 BugCheck and Critical EVENT 41 Kernel-Power

I've had my PC since January (completely new + running Windows 10) but ever since February it has been restarting without any warning for seemingly no reason. It's happened around 10 times since and seems to be on some kind of count down, restarting after
a certain amount of hours use. Just yesterday it rebooted 10 minutes after I had started the PC up, and half an hour from me writing this it rebooted again. I finally dived into the Event Viewer and found that there has been a consistent chain of Critical
errors, namely Event 41 Kernel Power, with Event 1001 BugCheck sitting right underneath it every time. I've been scouring the net to try and figure out how to fix the issue, but I'm not really sure what's going on and I am fairly new to all the deep-seated
technological terms. Any help would be greatly appreciated (and relayed in simple terms) because I'm honestly clueless.

    EVENT 1001 BugCheck:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffffe4853ab1f8f8, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\032618-26531-01.dmp. Report Id: 5f9ad654-be7a-4f6e-82bb-5d947f7e661c.

No worries, I am always open to the possibility that I have an out of date driver or 3. *Smile

I'm new to the world of target links, and I don't know how to add -verify to a target link or know where quotes should go. Do you know where I could find a set of step by step instructions for the process? Thanks!

UPDATE I found some instructions. Trying using them now to try fixing my crash issue.

UPDATE #2 I ran the GTA launcher with the -verify tag 2x I didn't see any indication that any files were corrupted.

Event 1001 and Event 902 at Random times while running GTA V

After running the -verify on GTA V I got another Windows Event ID 1001 crash.

I copied the event log, and attached it to this post. I can't figure out what's causing the error.
