Windows 10: Event 10016 causing audio issues

Hi Microsoft Community,

I have an issue regarding event 10016, whenever a video plays or my laptop starts up, the audio starts to spazz out for a few seconds and whenever I check Event Viewer, it states Event 10016 occurred at that time, every single time. I've tried multiple solutions and videos to fix this problem but to no avail, I keep getting the same error over and over again. Are any of these solutions possible or any other methods to fix this?
1. Resetting the entire computer?

2. Get a new product?
3. Find a way to reset my Microsoft account if it's connected to it?

Event ID 10016, CLSID and APPID

Hey, I've been trying to resolve this same dcom issue myself, and I followed the steps you listed @FreeBooter, but when I try to do the last step, I firstly when clicking "edit" get a message saying



And then when I do enter the menu after clicking "ok" on that dialog box, the add button is greyed out.

I'm 100% certain I followed all the steps correctly. I triple-checked it. But no dice...
