Windows 10: Event 10016 Causing Constant Crashes

Hi, This issue has plagued me for a few weeks now. I get the error code in Event Viewer every time there is a crash, but the message will show up without the PC crashing. I've seen several threads about this issue already, but they were on 5+ year old versions of Windows, and the last bit of info doesn't work for me. This is the error that pops up: The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B5

What implications would that be ?
It's easy enough to fix if you follow the steps correctly:

No need to wait and hold your breath. MS can't be bothered with errors that appear to be random or caused by third party software really.

Event error 10016, causes pc to crash and reboot

Hi,

Event ID 10016 means a program, the Clsid displayed in the message, tried to start the DCOM server by using the DCOM infrastructure. Based on the security ID (SID), this user does not have the necessary permissions to start the DCOM server.
