    Good morning,

I have been having consistent crashes (blue screens) of my PC for 6 months now. I am not able to identify the cause of the issue, would you be able to diagnose the problem.

    PC specs:

Motherboard; ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING WIFI II

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 Ti XC3 ULTRA GAMING (12G-P5-3955)

    RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance

PSU: 850W Corsair RMx Series RM850x, Fully Modular, 80PLUS Gold

I have the same problem as mentioned here:

However, there are no C:\Windows\Minidump directory on my machine.
Also, I have installed HWiNFO64 but I am not sure how to detect if my machine is overheating.

It would be great to have some help, I have been struggling with the PC for so long, I don't know what to do anymore.

Event 46 WHEA-Logger, Memory Issues and BSoD

    Good evening,

I recently upgraded the hardware in my pc. Since then, I have experienced repeated BSoDs and crashes during high resource use activities (such as gaming and streaming, watching Youtube, or chatting on discord).

When a BSoD occurs, it comes with the stopcode WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

The system log in the event viewer lists Event 46 WHEA-Logger as the issue with a Machine Check Exception in the memory.

I have run MemTest86 as well as Windows Memory Diagnostic and neither test returned any errors. I have not experienced any issues with booting or stability issues other than when I'm gaming and performing another high-resource task as mentioned above. The BIOS settings are all default. The hardware I am running is as follows:

Motherboard; ASUS ROG Strix B550F Gaming (WiFi)

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

    GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 3060

    RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB)* 3000MHz C15

*sold as 16GB (2x8GB). One pair is an earlier version but all sticks are the same model, speed, and latency otherwise

PSU: Corsair RM 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

All components (with the exception of 2 of the RAM sticks) were purchased and installed a little under 3 months ago. The problem occurs whether I'm using the new RAM exclusively, the old RAM exclusively, or all four sticks together. I have not tested each stick individually.

From similar threads, I have minidump files prepared to share on request if necessary.

I'm not sure what the issue is or if the minidump will provide insight but I'm curious to know if 3000MHz (running at a default speed of 2133MHz) is sufficient for the hardware I am using or if faster RAM is necessary as it seems as though all other possible causes have been ruled out.
