Windows 10: Event 7011 - Wireless Modem Service service

Several times a day I am getting Event 7011 with this description:A timeout 30000 milliseconds was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the Wireless Modem Service service.Please help

Services delay (event 7011) at restart only


I have a problem with fast restarting my computer (Dell M4800 with Win 10 64-bit Pro TH2) - I've marked "restarting" as this never happens when booting after power off. When "cold" booting, the startup is fast and accurate.

However when restarting, the OS closes quickly but starts up extremely long 3-4 minutes (while cold start is ca. 10 secs.). I've looked into my logs and it turns out that there's always a single event 7011 that causes ca. 2-3 minutes lags during the startup. It's always related to some service that cannot be started.

The most common is "A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the ApHidMonitorService service." This one is definitely Dell touchpad - what I did, I disabled the touchpad (it didn't help), then I've disabled the whole service. This time restart was also long but it was due to Kaspersky antivirtus service ("A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the AVP16.0.0 service."). I believe if I disable my AV now, another service will get stuck.

In such situations MS advises to increase the waiting time from 30 to 60 seconds, but I believe it simply prolong startup time further...

Any ideas what that may be related to and how to resolve the problem? Many thanks for this!

To address your concern, provide the answers to the following:

• Did the wireless service worked before?
  
• Does the issue happen on any device?
  
• Does your device detect the wireless service?
  

In the meantime, make sure that your wireless service drivers are up-to-date.
