Event 7034 ,The IntelR Storage Middleware Service service terminated unexpectedly. How can i fix this?

In windows server 2016 - Win 32 C++ Application running as windows service, terminated unexpectedly with event ID 7034

Win 32 C++ Application running as windows service is stopped abruptly. In the event viewer log it shows "The service terminated unexpectedly" with event ID 7034.

Even though the server is configured for writing dump file, There is no crash dump file got created.

We wrote a small application which crashes itself. During the crash, windows server able to create the dump file.

What may be the reason that win 32 windows service application quitting without writing the dump file.

 

Event 7000 and event 7034

Whenever I run something that uses a lot of resources, I end up getting event 7000: [The LMS service failed to start due to the following error:

The system cannot find the file specified.] and event 7034: [The Dell Digital Delivery Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s)] after some time, which disconnects me from the application. Event ID 7000: Service Start Failure - TechNet Articles - United States (English) - TechNet Wiki says something about "restoring the service default settings to resolve event ID 7034", but I'm not sure how to do it. Can someone help me? I have close to no knowledge of how computers work.

I understand that you are experiencing issues with Event 7000: LMS service failed to start, the system cannot find the file specified and Event 7034: Dell Digital Delivery Service terminated unexpectedly.



Regarding Event 7034: Dell Digital Delivery Services terminated unexpectedly. You can try reinstalling the Dell Digital Delivery Program.

Press Win+R enter and run "control" to open control panel - uninstall a program - find and double click to uninstall Dell Digital Delivery Program.



Reinstall the latest version of the Dell Digital Delivery Program.



Regarding Event 7034: The LMS service should be the Intel(R) Local Management Service. The Intel Local Management Service (LMS) enables programs to access the Intel Active Management Technology Firmware (AMT FW) through the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI). LMS relies on MEI to drive.



LMS.exe is generally stored in a subdirectory under "C:\Program Files\Intel\Intel(R) Management Engine Components\LMS".

You can check if the service is missing files and try reinstalling the MEI driver to see if that helps.
