    Event ID 10016 DistributedCOM crashing pc while gaming


    Out of the blue my pc started to reboot randomly while gaming. It became more and more regularly. After some google searches I found that every time I had a crash there was a warining in the Event viewer, windows log. The details are as follows: The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54} and APPID {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402} to the user KAMEL

    I don't think it's RuntimeBroker. Take a look at a recent one:

    Hi,

    What implications would that be ?
    It's easy enough to fix if you follow the steps correctly:

    Windows 10 Event ID 10010 and 10016 Errors With DistributedCOM

    No need to wait and hold your breath. MS can't be bothered with errors that appear to be random or caused by third party software really.
