Windows 10: Event ID 46 and 49 volmgr errors

    Event ID 46 and 49 volmgr errors


    Windows event log is spamming me with these for Device\HardDiskVolume 3. This is an external usb hard drive I use for storage that is not always connected and which was safely disconnected using task bar item.

    Paging file is set to system managed, windows is up to date and I have run SFC_DISM_scan.bat which showed no integrity violations.

    Event Log Online Help site cannot be found. What good is it? When is this going to be fixed?

    I've seen proposed answers to this problem for Windows 7. What about the latest version of Windows 10?

    volmgr error

    after i disabled page files i have volmgr errors and i guess a short freeze or 2 to desktop. should i enable it again or the error will go away ?

    Don't disable the pagefile there isn't really a benefit and stuff can go wrong
