Windows 10: Event id 56 acpi 1 in event viewer after restarting pc.

Why am i getting this error ? System runs fully stable as far as i can tell But this error still comes up on every reboot. Have tried :Update bios/reset bios/reset cmos Reinstalled Windows/update Windows Checked all hardware/cables Checked all drivers/devices Ran all troubleshooting commands in cmd Pc is brand new. Spec: 14700kf intel990 PRO samsung 4070 super Phanteks amp gh 1000w platinum Gskill 7200mhz 2x24gb ddr5

Help to get Event ID 15 - ACPI to stop logging in Event Viewer

Not sure if this is the right section, if not please move to the correct one.

Under the details tab in Event Viewer when a logged event has a GUID that shows up in the registry under HKEYLM > System > CurrentControlSet>Control>WM>Autologger>EventLog-XX I know how to disable the event from logging, but Event ID 15 - ACPI does not have a GUID.

Does any one know how I can get this to stop logging? From what I have seen on the web only a fix to the motherboard BIOS would fix it and I doubt that this is high on Asus' list of BIOS fixes for the R6E. Everything I have read on the web says that this is meaningless and in the General tab it basically says to ignore it so I would like to get this to stop logging in Event Viewer.

Event ID 56 Application Popup not found error

There are many Error 41 (Critical error) entries shown in the log.





This denotes that the last shutdown was not clean. Here's a case where replacing the power supply resolved the problem for a user.

So, it's most likely a PSU/hardware issue. Fixing the event log can take the backseat.
