    Event ID 56 and ID 5005 Issues - IntelR Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 Problem?


    My PC has suddenly started crashing unexpectedly, and I believe it to be a IntelR Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 problem. I get event ID 56, 10400, 5032, and an ID 1001. I do have the nvlddmkm.sys file in the normal place that the system apparently cannot find.I am also getting event ID 37 problems, which I am hoping is just linked to the problems above.This is the link for the minidump that I receive for the crash, I have zipped it and uploaded it to google drive for your convenience. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    For the second error, select the Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260. Before uninstalling, ensure that you already have the downloaded installer for your Wireless driver from your device's

    WCMSVC service errors (ID 7011) causing Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 to be disabled and grayed out

    Hi!

    Need a little more information on the Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160. Is it this one?

    Intel

    • What does it say in Device Manager
    • Does the BIOS detect the card
    • Is the card seated in the slot
    I just went threw a bunch of software trouble shooting on a wireless USB button, and found out it was not software. Replacing the hardware fixed.

    Constant need to reset network adapters to be able to connect to internet while gaming online (Error message: Event ID 5007, Source: Netwtw04, "5007 - TX/CMD timeout (TfdQueue hanged)

    Hi knnccbeer,

    I would suggest you refer to the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

    Step 1. Set the power plan to Maximum Performance/Ultimate Performance.

    Step 2. Uncheck the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

    1. Open Device Manager.

    2. Navigate to Network Adapter > Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168

    3. Right-click Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 and select Properties.

    4. Click the Power Management tab.

    5. Uncheck the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

    6. Click OK.

    7. Restart your computer, and when it boots up, check to see whether or not the problem has been resolved.
