Windows 10: [Event] Inquiry error message in details for root cause identification purpose

Hi, recently we are using a software called " Bartender" from Seagull Scientific in VM Window 10 environment . We encounter some issue, there is couple error message which captured from Seagull server. Can we have a clear explanation and inquiry regarding both this error message for us to identify the root cause?

PNY USB Drive won't mount ANY other brand will

I understand that the PNY USB drive is not getting detected when plugged in to the computer, we will look into this for you. However, in order to get to the root cause of the issue, please reply with the following details:

• What happens when you plug in the PNY USB to the computer?
  
• Do you receive any error code/message?
  
• Do you see any yellow yield in any USB driver in Device Manager?
  

I suggest you to check Event viewer for any error message, so that we can get to the root cause of the issue. Please follow the steps mentioned below to check Event Viewer:

1. Press Windows + X from the keyboard, select
   Event Viewer.
   
2. Expand Windows Logs from the left pane and select
   System.
   
3. Click Filter Current Log from extreme right pane. Then in the new windows check the box beside
   Error and click OK.
   
4. Now look for the Error message for USB from the list and note down the message/information from the
   General Tab in the lower section.

EVENT VIEWER ERRORS

Hi,

There are instances that Event Viewer errors can be harmless due to the reason that it's only being listed on your Event Viewer logs for documentation purposes during the upgrade process. For us to properly assist you in figuring out if you're in the same
situation, we'd like to clarify the following details:

• 
  Are you encountering any performance related issues?
  
• 
  Are there any applications or programs that do not work as expected? If so, which are those?
  
• 
  Can you send us a screenshot of the errors you're seeing?

Root cause of, We can't install this printer right now. Error: #740

Dear all,

* This year, after re-installing Windows 10 PCs as part of routine break/fix, we have started to receive this error message:

"We can't install this printer right now. Error: #740. Try again later or contact your network administrator for help"

* There are plenty of posts on the internet advising that the workaround is

a) Open a Windows command prompt window as Administrator

b) Then, run the following at the command prompt


rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /il

* While we have added this to our Known Error database, and the workaround has restored service in all situations when needed, can anyone advise:

1) Is a fix available for the root cause of this issue?

2) If the answer to question 1) is 'yes', what is that fix please?

3) If the answer to question 1) is anyone connected with the tech geniuses in Microsoft to make a fix available please?

My manager has suggested that the root cause may have been introduced as an intended fix to the Microsoft printing issues that gained widespread coverage last year. This though is a speculative suggestion.
