Windows 10: Event logging of 1016. IT'S THE BEEPS.

My Windows 10 computer version Pro 1909 OS build 18363.1500 has started beeping frequently it is annoying and loud.I've tracked the issue to Error 1016 Event logging. I understand this is not a critical issue and can generally be ignored HOWEVER when it logs the event it produces a loud beep, kind of a two tone beep. How do I stop the beeping?? It is driving me nuts and I have tried several fixes to no avail. I don't really care about the logging if it's not important but having my work interrupted by Loud Beeps all the time is difficult.thanks for any help about how to silence the beepsjust

Error 1016 Help

Hello Glenn,

This issue occurs because certain processes do not have permissions to the DCOM components that are mentioned in the event logs.
To prevent the events from being logged, we suggest performing the troubleshooting steps in this article:

DCOM event ID 10016 is logged in Windows.

error codes 1010 and 1016

To isolate your concern, can you provide us a screenshot of the following:

• Activity log that shows the error 1010 and 1016
• Background processes

Here's how to go to Background processes:

• Press Windows key + X, and then click on Task Manager.
• Under the Processes tab, scroll down to Background processes.

Unusual notebook beeping

Check "Event Viewer", applications and system section, for items logged at the time of beeps.(look at clock when lappy beeps, then check log). Find the event ID number and google it, go to a microsoft site for description of event. It's probably a driver issue, sound or graphics.
