Event Viewer reports a bad block error happening frequently, but Disk Tools says the drive...

Event viewer has a bunch of reports: "The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block."Error checking on Drive says "You don't need to scan this drive".The computer has only one drive, a SSD. What should I do about this?

ATi Tool error in Event Viewer

I uninstalled ATI Tool about a month ago, yet there are still ATI Tool related error messages sprinkled throughout my Event Viewer. This is what the error is:

"The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
    ATITool"

Why is it there? Has ATI Tool not uninstalled correctly? *Bang Head :banghead:

    Help please.

Event Viewer queries on my Windows 10 laptop

I would suggest the obvious- focus on the most frequently occurring hardware-related report, and try to get further information on that. Work with the report detail.

Run stress tests on your PC as per suggestions above.

If you wanted some sort of reference, you could, say, swap out your disk and install Windows alone, see what event viewer says then.

You might prefer this view of the event log using freeware: note no hardware related reports there.

    Disk Read Error

You been able to get back in to windows ?. if so check the event viewer as that might tell you some more on the error.

Maybe windows found a bad sector and you might want to check for bad blocks with chkdsk. Bad block are normal if there not increasing at a very high rate.
