  1. Event VWR SCAM!

    Hello guys,

I got a call today from some Indian/hindu guys. They said they are from the microsoft department and sounded very professional.

Nevertheless, I opened my laptop and they told me to type event VWR and showed me warning/faults and told me that there are 6 hackers on my laptop.

They got access to my laptop and we talked for like 20 mins (meanwhile they showed me how they would fix and really show some programs etc.). Suddenly, he opens a page and then told me to write my bankaccountnumber for a anti-virus program from Microsoft ( 2 years for 10 euro).

By the way he got my full name and e-mail address from school (he can't acces it because it's double secured). I realized he was a scammer and then ended the conversation on the phone, I closed my laptop and took out the wifi.

I ran towards a computer store so that the guy could format my laptop, then went to the bank to block all my bankaccounts + cardstop. After that I called my internet provider to change my IP address of my WIFI (done). I changed the paswords of my emails.

Should I worry, please someone answer me as fast as possible.

    :)
