    Hi Team,


    We are experiencing the event id 40960 from half of our Windows 10 workstations - These workstations are spread across different sites . Though the sites were having local domain controller before , due to some issues , these local DC's were removed and now the workstation from these sites are connected to the main domain controller.


    "The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was "No authority could be contacted for authentication from couple of site Workstation"


    The user can log on to the workstation , but unable to get the mapped drives workings , GPO not getting applied etc.

    Even if we browse from these workstation to any of the DC's "netlogon" folder , it is prompting for the user name and password.


    Have tried the following and still could not get the issue resolved -


    DCDIAG - no error reported from the DC's two DC's are the main site - Windows 2016 DC's

    nltest - no error

    dns - no error

    etc


    Removed the WS and added back to the domain


    Checked the MTU Size and no fragmentation at all


    Ran out of idea and hit the wall -- please help

    is kerberos authentication supported?

    I don't think Kerberos is supported. The Wi-Fi authentication support in most WP7 phones is limited to:

    [*]WEP
    [*]WPA
    [*]WPA-Enterprise
    [*]WPA2-Personal

    I can connect to our wlan, but when the proxy is set, still no internet connection is available with or without username and password.

    Kerberos Pre-Authentication error

    I have a Windows 10 domain joined machine that keeps
    throwing up Kerberos pre-authentication every 20 minutes. It is a Surface Pro machine, I tried to clear Windows cashed credentials, then I scanned the computer. I managed to
    disable pre-authentication for the user via the AD. But I wouldn’t like to use
    this as a resolution as I think there is a security risk
