Windows 10: Ever since going to windows 10 my pc has been running like complete garbage

So i recently switched to windows 10 via the windows 10 download on the Microsoft website I started on windows 11 when i got my pc I switched because windows 11 felt too weird for me When i switched i noticed the lack in performance i didn’t have in windows 11 suddenly my monitor says “Generic PnP Monitor” it runs at 64hz instead of 60And its not letting me change my resolution in settings Also because im not a huge computer expert my computer doesn’t have a gpu because it says Microsoft Display adaptor I don’t know if i can change that via download. Would be cool if someone could help me t

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
