My university recently forced everyone to switch to Duo for two factor authentication. Ever since, OneDrive has stopped syncing properly on my iPad. On my laptop, the OneDrive folder has a green check mark next to it to show that it's synced (same goes for all the other folders inside of it). On my iPad though, files haven't synced for the past month. I've tried fully signing out of my account on iOS and signing back in, but this doesn't fix the issue. OneNote is also all screwed up - hitting sync manually in OneNote (plus signing in and out) doesn't make a difference. My files just won't sync on my iPad.

When signing into OneDrive on my iPad, I've tried selecting "remember me for 14 days" when prompted to authenticate with Duo, but then I get the message that I can't do this because my device isn't set to remember cookies. As much as I hate not having access to my files on my iPad, I would hate changing my privacy and security settings more.

This has all been a bit disheartening. Everything worked great prior to Duo. I use Authy for my personal OneDrive account and haven't experienced any problems. But now, accessing my files in the OneDrive iOS app or using the OneNote iOS app has become impossible. Does anyone have any ideas about what else I can try?

Yeah it's amazing how many people put their shit on places like Onedrive and such and all so concerned about privacy.

Yea, they just stopped giving unlimited space to Office subscribers as well. I use google drive, dropbox and I do use onedrive, but nothing major in onedrive. I read something about Amazon has that's not bad and is fairly cheap. It's called "Amazon Glacier". It's $0.007 per gigabyte per month, but it's not like google drive or onedrive. You upload your files and hours later you can get access to it. So, for backups it's not a bad solution, but if you need access to the files regularly then it wouldn't be.

I never used OneDrive, I copy my important files to USB sticks and external harddrive.
