    Ever since update, my mouse scrolls the wrong way


    Hello! I had some type of update about a month ago that required a restart of the computer. Ever since then, my Microsoft mobile mouse won't scroll properly. If I try scrolling down a page, it will scroll about one line down and then start scrolling up, or it just won't scroll at all. If I try to scroll up, it "bounces" on the page and goes up, and then down. I have changed the batteries on the mouse, so that isn't it. I have disconnected the mouse, and reconnected it via bluetooth and that still did not work. How do I fix this?

    Hi all,
    For some time now I have been having really frustrating scrolling problems - not just with this mouse, but I have tried 2 others with the same results. When scrolling with the wheel, the screen will scroll a short way ( up or down) and then scroll the other way - like a 3 steps forward, 2 steps back! The number of lines scrolling is also random at times, but NEVER smooth. So annoying. I have tried all the mouse wheel stuff in control panel. Having to use the scroll bars is annoying

    How do I change scroll direction of a mouse NOT listed under Mice?

    Thanks; yes, those are great directions and did work to change the direction of the wired mouse that came with the computer. But the mouse I'm using doesn't show up as a mouse in the hardware list, so I can't follow the rest of those steps. I need the mouse to appear on the list of mice in order to complete this sequence.

    Hello,

    I have been having problems with my (Altos) mouse scrolling. Every time I try scrolling down or up on a window (E.g. Searching something on google, and scrolling for results), it'd either go the opposite way, or just not scroll at all. I tried
    taking off the mouse scroll piece and put it back on, but nothing worked. I'm having this problem for a month now.

    Any suggestions?
