  2. Ever since upgrading my PC, I have been having constant CTD's on every video game I play.

    Hello.

Last week I purchased new parts for my gaming PC.

    The previous specs were:

    Motherboard: MSI X470 Gaming Pro

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700x

    GPU: MSI RTX 2060 Super

    RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2 x 8GB @3000mhz

    PSU: Corsair RM 750X

    New specs are:

Motherboard: MSI X470 Gaming Pro with Bios update 7B79v1K, installed before new CPU.

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800x

GPU: ASUS RTX 4070 Super (Currently using the included "daisy chain" power adapter)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2 x 8GB@3000mhz AND Corsair Vengeance Pro 2 x 8GB@3200mhz. However I adjusted the frequencies to 2933mhz in the bios.

When I first upgraded, I was on Windows 10. I immediately noticed after getting everything installed, configured and had all the software updates needed, that I was having consistent CTD's on every single game I tried to play. The crashes were limited to video games only. The computer runs perfectly normal on every other task.

This past weekend, I did a fresh install of Windows and upgraded to Windows 11. I chose to wipe the boot drive completely, leaving myself with a clean slate.

I also uninstalled every single file on my computer that was not important documents, pictures or videos. Which means I also uninstalled all of my games and deleted all of the save files.

When playing Cyberpunk 2077, after the game crashed, I checked the event viewer and it seems that the problem was stemming from the RedLauncher application. So I used Steam to change the game launch to skip the RedLauncher completely. However, the game still crashes.

When playing Starfield, it just crashed and left nothing in the event viewer to try and decipher.

I have ran the memory test multiple times and nothing has come up.

I did a benchmark the GPU using UniHeaven and the card performed great. I have not tried to do a stress test on the CPU to see if that's causing crashes. Its the only thing I haven't fully ruled out hardware wise.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I really just want to play some games with my new rig. Ever since upgrading my PC, I have been having constant CTD's on every video game I play. :(

    No Video Playback

    Hi,

There are several factors that may cause video clips not to play on Xbox App.
It is possible that your video card drivers are not updated. To properly isolate your concern, please clarify the following information:

    • Are you able to play videos using other applications on your PC?
    • Have you tried to check if offline videos are playing on your PC?
    • Have you tried updating your graphics card drivers?

In the meantime, you may perform the suggested steps under Troubleshooting video or display problems
    on this
    link
    to resolve the issue.

If you need further assistance, you may reply to this post anytime.
