I am positive this is malware as any time that I go and delete the temp folders contents, the files just come back and are quarantined over and over again. I need some help. I've tried using a few different ways to get rid of this malware but nothing is working. I don't want to just completely nuke my computer until I know for sure there is no other option.

    :)

  2. In temp files, an .exe appearing every minute, is it a virus?

hi, i was checking Temp folder for unwanted junk, i have found a folder in C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Temp , which has random folders ' nsxxxxx.tmp' created everyminute and having shangri.exe file in all, I tried to open it but it gives me error, is it virus or potentially unwanted app. McAfee is quarantining this exe file each minute.

This should sort things for you.

    • Download Fixlist.txt and save to the folder FRST64.exe is in
    • Run FRST64 and click on "Fix" - the PC will reboot to complete the fix

Please upload Fixlog.txt and let me know if the exe temp file issue is resolved.
