Windows 10: Every microsoft releated apps are COMPLETELY BROKEN

So this erorr happens to me like 6 months and I really dont care about it because I can just use other photos, videos app instead of original one. But now, I want to play back "Minecraft". I tried to install the launcher but not working, then I came to the official site to download the launcher but it stuck at "Starting installation". Every thing I tried are not working. Some of them are:- Boot into safe mode to try to uninstall the error update- Tried commands like Get-Appxpackage ...- Tried to update windows but EVERY time I update it fails. It wasted me a lot of times- Tried to sfc scannow

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Sorry, that can't work, because you're searching for neutral after quering without -PackageTypeFilter. That is: you retrieve only Main and Framework packages and then you search the ones with an undefined architecture.

But I would suggest you to query the registry as I suggested in my last post. That should be even better because you're not relying on assumptions on Get-AppxPackage. With a registry query you're asking Windows which Bundle apps it has installed.
Or, if you feel like, try both and compare the results. *Biggrin
