Windows 10: Every minute or so, Alt+Tab, Windows+Tab, and Clicking Taskbar icons no longer switches...

Every minute or so, I lose the ability to quickly switch applications with shortcuts like alt+tab and windows+tab, and even clicking the taskbar icons will not focus the relevant application. The problem seems to fix itself for a little bit when I restart the explorer.exe task, but returns relatively quickly. This problem is extremely agitating and I can't really find anything online about the specific problem I'm having. Interestingly, alt+tab DOES switch to apps that are minimized. Additionally, using windows shortcuts that open applications windows+i - settings, windows+e - explorer does

Alt-Tab and clicking on icon in taskbar not working as expected

Hi,

For some reason, I'm seeing weird behavior with the taskbar and the Alt-Tab keyboard shortcut. I'm not sure what is causing it. Here are the symptoms:

• If I have more than one window open for an application, I cannot use the taskbar to go to one of the windows. I used to be able to click on the icon of the window, then all available running windows would appear over the taskbar. Then I could simply click one of the windows and it would maximize or I would switch to it. Now, if I hover the mouse over the icon, the running windows appear but if I click on one of them, nothing happens. Sometimes I will click on the icon in the task bar and the windows would quickly appear then disappear. If I only have one running window, the window opens as expected.
  
• When I do Alt-Tab, it only switches between two windows. Normally, if I click Alt-Tab repeatedly, it cycles among all running windows. Now, though, I can't get beyond the last window I used. Combine this with the item above, and you can see that switching between windows has become a colossal chore!
  

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
What do you think?

 

alt + tab not working

*Confused I can alt tab back even if i don't have another program to switch too.
