Works fine, can't have an external speaker? Do I still need the fix I ask for below? ===== original question =====I don't think you can name an option I haven't tried to get my mic to work. I am not a newb. I've been on Windows since before it existed. I then figured I had to go to the registry. This solution said look for this key below and it's not there. Can I add it and specificially how. I have added keys before succes

    USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.
