Windows 10: Every other device has good wifi except my desktop

i recently got a new computer tower, monitor, etc etc. we finished setting it up and its up and running but the only issue is the wifi.


my household has three iphones, two laptops, one ipad, and whenever family comes around and uses our wifi its completely fine and fast for all of them. my new desktop for some reason barely gets as much wifi as the rest of the devices.


ive tried turning it on and off the computer, turning on and off the router, the desktop is new so i dont think its a malware virus kind of thing, ive tried the windows shell admin code trick, ive tried uninstalling the intel wireless thing and restarting the computer, ive tried searching up if my computer had AMD quick stream but it doesn't seem to have that, the only things i haven't tried is using an ethernet cable and moving the desktop closer, but my laptops and phones have been farther from the desktop before and still got wifi fine.


the wifi is usually only 1-2 bars, sometimes no internet connection at all, and very very rarely ive seen it have 4 bars

wifi device is missing some time

Good day,

Refs above mail, please be inform that i have already took the following steps, to fix the same. but nothing works.

• updated device manager.
• Release and refresh from command option.

strange is that, when the issue occurs. following things observed.

• wifi driver is vanish from device manager.
• wifi laptop on/off switch light become orange means no wifi. but if i press the same button i use to see on desktop flight on and off.
  
• when i used command (prompt) i saw there was only Ethernet data came. nothing related to wifi.
• in network connection wifi option is not available. only Ethernet option.

So please look in the above matter and do the needful.

Is there anything better than this which has maximum Wifi range? For example can it play movie from 30 meter distance ? From other room ?

Laptops cannot access desktops via WIFI

I have 3 desktops (all on Windows 10 1803) connected on my LAN. After following this forum for some times and did all the steps as suggested by forum member, access denied, all my desktops are able to view and access one another. I have a printer connected to PC1, and managed to connect all the other 2 PCs to have the shared printer.

I also have 2 more laptops (both Asus with the same Windows 10 1803) connected via WIFI. Performed all the same steps as per the desktops, but I was not able to access PC1. I was able to view all the 3 desktops from the file explorer, but I just can't access all the desktops. However, I was able to access the Asus laptops from desktop PC1.

Anyone able to assist on this matter? Any assistance is highly appreciated.
