Windows 10: Every second the service Virtual Disk Service VDC is starts and stops.

I noticed a strange situation on my new laptop. It seems to me that it can damage the laptop, but maybe I'm wrong and it's harmless. Every second, the Virtual Disk service starts and stops after a second. This continues ad infinitum.Using the Process Explorer program, I found out that the Gigabyte Control Center program starts the Virtual Diks service. As you can see in the screenshot, three processes are started at once and immediately shut down Diskpart.exe, Conhost.exe, vds.exe.If I close the Gigabyte Control Center, the problem disappears, but this is a program that I need for my laptop

I suggest you to start the Virtual Disk Service and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key + R from the Keyboard.
• Type services.msc and hit Enter.
• In the Services Window, look for Virtual Disk service and
  Stop it.
• Restart the computer and Start the Virtual Disk
  service and set it to Automatic.
• Restart the computer and it check if it works.

Virtual disk service wont start

Worked the first time i tried it then after closing the application and trying to start again the disk service would not start anymore.

 

Virtual Disk service is unavailable (0x8078009C).

Attempted a System Image backup on newly migrated
Windows 10 laptop. I received the following error: Virtual Disk service is unavailable (0x8078009C). I can start the service, however, I receive the same error message. Also, when I select Disk Management under the Computer Management
window I receive the following: Unable to connect to Virtual Disk Service. Suggestions kindly appreciated... thank you.
