Windows 10: Every time i press 3 or more keys, my computer beeps and doesnt register the extra pressed...

This happens when i press 3 or more keys, so lets say i want to press F,G,H at the same time. It would register F,G, but wouldnt register H. No this isnt toggle or filter keys. This isnt sticky keys either. I once followed a tutorial that worked and it involved turning off some beep option in some place, i dont remember what that place is or how to get to it. I also cant seem to find the video. My laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad A485.

Change Beep when keys are pressed or accepted

Hi everybody,

I want to know; if there is a way to change a sound, beep, that win 10 plays when this option is enable.

Path:

Control Panel\Ease of Access\Ease of Access Center\Set up Filter Keys

Other settings

• Beep when keys are pressed or accepted.

I don't like that beep, I want another one and it would be great if the user can change it.

Ctrl key on my keyboard goes into "sleep periods" and is not registered the first time I press it

Hello, I've had an ongoing problem with my Ctrl key for about 2 years:

• Windows sometimes does not register when I've pressed the Ctrl key for keyboard shortcuts (copy, paste, etc.)
  
  • For example, pressing Ctrl+C will type the letter "c" instead of copying text
    
• However, if I pressed the Ctrl key in the past 5-10 minutes, then it will work just fine
  
• In other words, there are "sleep periods" during which my Ctrl key doesn't work
  
• If I press the Ctrl key during a sleep period, Windows will not detect that the Ctrl key was pressed but will instead switch from a sleep period into a "wake period"
  
• These wake periods last roughly 5-10 minutes, after which it will automatically switch back into a sleep period
  
• Important: I regularly use this keyboard across 3 different computers, and I only have this problem on 1 of the 3 computers
  

How do I fix this so that Windows will always register the Ctrl key when pressed? (Thank you in advance!)

 

Key press beeps go funny if a key is held down (E71)

Hi everyone,



Has anyone else noticed that the beeps produced by pressing a key go a bit funny if a key is held down for a few seconds to make it beep repidly?

If I'm scrolling down a long list of files, the key beeps change to what is almost a double beep, then if I do it again theres a click and it all goes back to normal.

I don't think this is a hardware fault, as its never been dropped, has done this since day one, and only happens if I hold a key down as opposed to pressing it quickly.

Anyone else noticed this?
