    Every time I try to sign into an app my Microsoft login just closes itself


    So when I try to login to any apps that have Microsoft login in them like Minecraft, Microsoft Store etc. the window just turns gray for 5 seconds and then closes itself instead of letting me login! I tried creating another Windows account and it worked there so this issue is only with this account. I am not resetting my PC since I already did that and that's what caused the start of the problems and more problems that aren't related to this post but I am really frustrated about them and still can't fix them since Windows is such a "great" operating system and Microsoft "definitely" works on f

    Hi Suzanne,

    There's a possibility that you are currently signed in on your computer using your local account. For us to sort this out, we suggest that you sign in with your Microsoft account instead. Follow these steps:

    • Open Settings > Accounts > Your email and accounts.
    • Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Once signed in with your Microsoft account on your computer, try signing into the Windows Store app.

    Update us with the result.

    No way to login to Microsoft Account - Login screen closes

    Hello there.

    Running Windows 10 22H2.

    Can't login to Microsoft Account, login screen closes after 3 seconds, no way to enter the email address.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

    Please confirm the following things for me.

    1. Is your system connected to the internet? You can check this through the network icon at the bottom left corner of your login screen.
    2. What error message are you receiving when you login with your Microsoft account?

    I would suggest you to login to
    http://login.live.com/     with your Microsoft account and check if you are able to sign-in with your credentials.

    If you are able to sign-in with your Microsoft account on the live website, you can follow the steps in this article to ‘Start
    your PC in safe mode in Windows 10    ’, kindly follow the steps in the section ‘From the sign-in screen’ and check if you are able to login to your system.
