Hey,So before i begin im not a newbie when it comes to PCs and i usually find my way out of things but i am beyond perplexed with this, i had this issue a few years ago but cant recall the work around.Issue:Can't download any file at allCan't play any games at allNeed Admin Perms for EVERYTHING even though i am admin with full power and control of the PC and the only User on here.Everything Read OnlyCan't access folders.Partial Workaround: Safe mode: im able to do anything and everything however nothing has been installed since last played, multiple scans with Malwarebytes and also iobit and n

You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

I would suggest you to go to control panel and check your user account status. Right click on the start button and select control panel in the menu. In the control panel, click on the 'view by' option in the top right and select 'large icons'. Now, click
on 'User accounts' and check if your account is listed as Administrator. If it is not displayed as Admin account, click on the option 'Change user account type' and select 'Administrator' and apply changes. Try these steps and let us know the results. If you

My admin account switched to a user account!

My account may have gotten corrupt in the update, Don't know for sure.
I do know this, This mess is way above my paygrade...LOL...
I really need some help to try to fix this issue.
The attachments can explain far better than me trying type what exactly is going on.
All I can say it's looks pretty darn complicated to me.
I hoping it looks worse than it is.




















I think the simplest way to address this is to make my account an administrator again.
If it can be done, I'm going to need a step by step on how to do it.
