The second ID@Xbox Game Pass showcase is a wrap! In case you couldn’t watch today, you can find the video on demand (VOD) above. But if you want the TLDR, don’t worry – we have you covered with this episode recap.

In addition to announcing more games coming to Xbox Game Pass from independent developers, we shared looks of gameplay from ID@Xbox games you may have gotten a glimpse of at E3 such as Totally Accurate Battle Simulator and Ikenfell. We also chatted with some of these developers such as Bloober Team, who were excited to share more about their game with you.

11 ID@Xbox Games Announced for Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass continues to be a great way for players of all kinds to discover their next favorite game. With these 11 titles joining the game library, we are excited to celebrate the creativity of independent developers and to help their games reach even more players.

Xbox Game Pass for Console and Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta)

My Time at Portia: Gather, mine, and craft as you explore, adventure, and rebuild your Pa’s workshop. With many different activities to choose from, there is something for everyone.

Bad North: In this real-time tactics roguelite, tailor your strategy to the unique layout of each island as you defend your island kingdom against Viking invaders.

Gonner: Venture into this challenging 2D platformer as you traverse dangerous environments and battle formidable foes on your journey to cheer up your only friend.

The Banner Saga 3: In the final chapter of the award-winning Banner Saga series, the darkness closes in. New playable characters and deeper combat await you in this story-driven, strategic RPG where choices matter and carry over from The Banner Saga 1 and 2.

Yoku’s Island Express: Play as Yoku, a small postman, on a quest to rebuild the post-office and awake an ancient island deity in this tropical open-world pinball adventure.

Worms W.M.D: Dive into the best Worms experience yet with more destruction, new weapons, and crafting. And with single player plus online and local co-op modes, enjoy solo or with friends!

Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta)

Undertale: You’ve fallen into the Underground, a world brimming with monsters. In this humorous RPG, fight or negotiate your way out – the choice is yours.

Timespinner: As timekeeper Lunais, take on the Lachiem empire to avenge your family. Utilize time, magic orbs, and Familiars to defeat enemies in this story-driven action-platformer.

Unavowed: Seek salvation from a dark past as you join an ancient society dedicated to fighting evil in this point-and-click adventure with branching stories.

Machinarium: Aid Josef, a robot who must save his girlfriend from the Black Cap Brotherhood gang. Embark on an adventure filled with puzzles, quests, brain teasers, and mini-games.

For the King: A kingdom is peaceful no more and the queen calls for the citizens’ aid. Heed her call in this challenging and strategic RPG with tabletop and roguelike elements.

Announcing ID@Xbox Game Pass on March 26

We are excited to announce ID@Xbox Game Pass, a stream highlighting great indie games coming soon to Xbox Game Pass, premiering March 26 at 9:00 AM PDT. In this show, you can expect to learn more about some of the hottest ID@Xbox titles coming to Xbox Game Pass with new reveals, gameplay highlights, and conversations with the developers. Fans will be able to check out our first ever episode https://www.youtube.com/user/xbox/hub.

In our debut, we’ll dive into games previously shown at E3 and X018. Expect hits such as Afterparty, Void Bast*rds, and Supermarket Shriek to be highlighted. In addition to new game announcements, we’ll also share a visit to Night School Studio, the creative team behind the hit game Oxenfree, for a behind-the-scenes look at their upcoming game Afterparty. Extra made up bonus internet points if you tweet to us about your advanced frisbee college courses.

Today, during the first-ever episode of ID@Xbox Game Pass, we gave fans a closer look at upcoming ID@Xbox program titles set to arrive with Xbox Game Pass the same day as their global launch, as well as shared new details of ID@Xbox and Xbox Game Pass activities at PAX East this weekend. If you missed the show, don’t worry! We’ve put together a recap outlining the top news from today’s episode. Check out what was announced below:

We’re excited to announce three new ID@Xbox titles coming to Xbox Game Pass the same day they release on Xbox One: Killer Queen Black, Outer Wilds and Blazing Chrome. Xbox Game Pass is not only a great way for gamers to find new and unique games, but the service is also an incredible vehicle for independent developers to reach new audiences. We are stoked to see these titles enter Xbox Game Pass at launch! See below to learn more about each title:

Killer Queen Black: From Liquid Bit, Killer Queen Black is an intense multiplayer action/strategy platformer designed for up to eight players. Hop on the snail, hoard berries or wipe out the enemy’s queen to claim victory! Killer Queen Black will be available on Xbox One and with Xbox Game Pass in 2019.

Outer Wilds: Outer Wilds, from Mobius and Annapurna Interactive, is an exploration game about curiosity, roasting marshmallows and unraveling the mysteries of the cosmos. It’s coming in 2019 and we’re thrilled to announce that it will be in Xbox Game Pass the same day as its global launch.

Blazing Chrome: From JoyMasher and The Arcade Crew, Blazing Chrome lets you kick some serious metal ass! The world is dominated by machines, that threaten the few humans remaining with total extermination. You get to kick some metal butts and free humankind in this classic run’n’gun, made by and for fans of serious arcade action.

In addition to announcing three upcoming titles to the ID@Xbox program, we also got an early look at both Afterparty and Outer Wilds as well as interviews and insights with the development teams behind those games (Night School Studio and Mobius, respectively).

Finally, we shared new details pertaining to ID@Xbox at PAX East! This year, we will be bringing Void B*stards, Operencia: The Stolen Sun, Supermarket Shriek, The Good Life and Afterparty to PAX East. All five titles will launch with Xbox Game Pass timed to their global release and are playable this weekend, so be sure to stop by the Xbox booth for your chance to experience these games first-hand! At the booth, you’ll also have the opportunity to collect custom pins for each of our ID@Xbox titles and even enter to win a custom-designed Xbox console specifically made for ID@Xbox. You won’t want to miss this!

Xbox Game Pass at PAX East 2019

The Xbox Game Pass team is excited to announce we’ll be packing up and heading to Boston for PAX East from March 28-31, where we’ll showcase an array of new gaming experiences so you can discover your next favorite game! Whether you’re joining us in person or following along on social, here’s what you can expect:

Xbox Game Pass Booth

Come join us and discover an array of exciting new games at the Xbox Game Pass PAX East booth! Fans will have the opportunity to play nine brand new ID@Xbox titles coming to Xbox Game Pass, as well as Forza Horizon 4 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Not only that, fans can take an interactive quiz to get a recommendation for their next favorite game. We’ve got playable demos of Void *******s, Killer Queen Black, The Good Life, Afterparty, Supermarket Shriek, Blazing Chrome, Outer Wilds, Operencia: The Stolen Sun, Forza Horizon 4, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. After playing one of the games from our ID@Xbox program, there will be a chance for fans to receive a custom pin modeled after that specific title.

Xbox Game Pass Sweepstakes

Fans can also enter for a chance to win one of four limited edition custom Xbox One X consoles influenced by some of the indie titles featured in the PAX East booth.
